Presently Growing

Everything around me is growing.  But it's not like this is something new.  Isn't strange when you become aware of something so obvious?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and am loving the 2nd trimester of pregnancy.

I attend a prenatal yoga class where many of the women are struggling with different aspects of their pregnancy but there I sit blissful awaiting the arrival of my first born...and growing.  I look a women who is 16 weeks pregnant and is not even showing and I think, "why isn't she growing or showing?"  Guess I building a big baby. :)

I day dream constantly about my baby and the kind of mother I am going to be.  Will I be bored like some people say or I will I be totally obsessed like I think I will be?

Being a Mom, a stay at home Mom, has been a life long dream of mine.  Some women want to be lawyers, teachers, business owners, etc. I have wanted to be many things but only because they would lead me to being a stay at home Mom.

The truth is, I feel as though I have always had a special and secret relationship with children.  When I am with them and their with me it is as though time stands still.  And it really doesn't matter whose children they are. (I don't discriminate.:))  They are the one thing that I found in this wonderful world that can really make me stop and be PRESENT.

I definitely have those moments with my husband and very close friends but with children it's like a vacuum that I can't get out of nor do I want to.

So as I sit here growing...I wonder what will the world be like with my child in it and will I be living in a vacuum with my child and my family.

It's been a busy year...

So being the Social Media Geek that I am, I guess I should feel pretty bad about not blogging on my personal blog all year. But the truth is..I don't. (Thank goodness. One less thing to feel bad about.) The truth is it has been a crazy busy year. Getting married, taking 5 trips, running a business, selling books out of my trunk, and we had to end the 2010 with a bang....we're pregnant!!

Yes yes thank you for the applause. We are so freaking excited. And I can finally say that I am more excited that nauseaus. Yippee!

Tomorrow I will officially be 3 months pregnant. And I am expecting that wonderful 2nd trimester burst of energy any minute now! Wait for it...wait for it. ;) Our beautiful bundle of joy who we are calling "George" will be here July 28th or so. (Yes I know I am having a boy. And no it's not official.)

So for the next 7 months I will be working hard getting all of my ducks in a row at With Ease Marketing. Hiring a couple of sales people and printing the 3rd version of F.U.E.L. While listening to country music songs that talk about life, being a mom, and crying my eyes out.

And of course blogging all along the way. A girl can dream right?

Growing Gibbons ~ Wedding Scouting Trip

In almost 3 months from now Garrett and I will be officially hitched! Technically we are already but in our hearts we are not quite yet. Only when it is convenient. :)
We just made it back from our "Wedding Scouting" trip to The Grand Palladium in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We had a wonderful weekend and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we love the resort we chose.
